Anyone here get in off the waitlist at Vanderbilt?

Hey guys, I'm wondering if anyone here is now a current med student at Vanderbilt Med who got in off the waitlist? If so, did you do lots of extra things (frequent updates, calls etc) or just sit and wait? And when did you hear that you had been taken off the waitlist? How many people do you think they take off the waitlist and what is their system for doing so? Basically, what can I do to maximize my chances.. 🙂 Thanks!

I have heard of people that have gotten in from the wait list. In fact 2 of them from last year.

ill reply cause it looks like your desperate, i am currently on the vandy waitlist, i believe this waitlist is like 600 long (something ridiculous) with only about 40 being offered acceptances (told this by admin. office), good luck, if you want to go there i would write letters,etc. to distinguish you from the 599 others,
