anyone know if my step 1 will show up as P/F when i apply through the match this year, if i took the exam before it became P/F?

I suspect it will be scored.

As the change to P/F doesn’t take place until January 2022 at the earliest, you will definitely have a numeric score when applying for the 2020-2021 season.
