Anyone Left To Float From Schools!!??

Hey SDN,

I'm sure I'm not the only one in this boat! But has anyone else NOT been contacted from Columbia, MUSC, and Howard? I know people that have gotten rejection and acceptances from all 3, but me NOTHING! I applied to 7 schools total, and I heard from the other 4, even twice from Nova (sent the rejection letter twice...thanks NOVA).

I know my stats aren't competitive at all, but I would still like some type of closure. I contacted the various schools (Columbia never picks up) and they keep saying refer to AADSAS which is blank in their slots. IDK, can they just not acknowledge you as an applicant at all!?? 👎

I think some schools just don't notify until the end of the cycle... which is like late April, or even May/June. But basically, I think you're pretty much rejected. Start prepping for next cycle and up that DAT to at least a 19, though 20+ will be pretty much necessary with that GPA.

I know without a shout of doubt, Im rejected...but they have already sent out rejections to other people, people I even know! Why just skip over me!? Ya feel me!?

And trust, I am getting ready for the next cycle...

I am in the same boat, and have also not heard from these schools either. They keep sayin be patient, and I keep thinkin, I have been patient! I believe, if they have not said no to you, then you are still in the running. Dont give up, but too be on the safe side, start preparing for next cycle incase nothin is heard from them. If you look on Pre-dents some of these schools are havin interviews till late Feb/March. So if you dont hear nothin in March, start preparing for the DAT until the next cycle opens in June which give you a good 3 month to study for it!

My GPA is .5 above yours...DAT 5+ above yours ....and haven't heard a peep...no rejection ...no "in review" .....we need too raise all scores and apply next year..Good Luck

I applied to Columbia as well and haven't heard anything from them. 😕
It still says that they have not received my official DATs when I go to AADSAS. 😱

I have been calling them to try to deal with this.

Last year there were certain schools who sent me rejection letters in August. I got the mail and was confused at to why they rejected me and then after looking at the class year it was for the previous cycle. Had me worried for a second since my application for this cycle was just starting to be reviewed.
