i have a grammatical error in my michigan one, and i left a sentence in for my ucdavis essay when i was editing, so it just sticks out in the paragraph. i hope this stupidity doesn't affect my chances too much, but then again i wouldn't be so surprised if it did. anyone else make similar booboos? 🙂.

i screwed up a year on my app...2003 vs. 2004. i hope they overlook it.

I made the same mistake. I called them and the office person fixed it. Also, in one of my secondaries I misspelled "titled" as "title" so the spell checker didn't catch it and neither did I.

I screwed up on a couple of secondaries and ended up getting into one of the schools. Don't sweat it...

Yes, we are all screw ups. That is why we are on this forum...

Your secondary will be fine.

I made a few spelling and grammar mistakes and screwed up one date. I let the typos go, but wrote the schools to indicate the correct date. It probably doesn't make much of a difference, but I felt owning up to the mistake than having someone question the veracity of my experiences if they noticed the discrepancy somehow.

My 2 cents.

Good luck to all you applicants!!!

Grammar mistake in the first sentence of my AMCAS personal statement....

It's subtle though. Just too conversational. Hopefully that's ok.

Funny, I've had more than several secondaries with grammatical errors in the instructions and questions.

Relax. We aren't going thru this process for a PhD in Engrish.

In the "Why do you want to go to our school" essay I copied and pasted from my Word documents the generic essay I've been using and forgot to change the schools name from the last schools name that I typed in. So school A got school B's name, but I got an interview anyways...and I never got it fixed!!!! hahahahahaha I wonder if I get accepted. My interview is on 10/25 so we'll see 🙂

a friend of mine made a mistake: she said she likes taking it up the ass, when she really meant to write I enjoy tapping ash....
