Anyone not get in the first time?

I was wait listed and eventually dropped the first time I applied to pharmacy school... completed my undergrad degree (one or two classes... no major changes in GPA or qualifications)... reapplied EARLY the next year and got right in... thankfully, I got into a school I hadn't applied to the previous year, and its been the best decision I've ever made... the schools I was wait listed at are MISERABLE... and I didn't know until interviewing at my current school. The earlier you can apply, the better... gives you a bit more control over the situation.

do you mind sharing which schools you thought were 'miserable' and which school you are going now?

The first time I applied as a transfer student to Rutgers and LIU, and didn't get into any of them. The second time I applied to Rutgers, Temple, LIU, and Northeastern.... I got interviewed at temple but didn't get in, rutgers didn't take me, and I got accepted to LIU and Northeastern...

I'm going to LIU right now and I'm a P4. Good luck 🙂

Just curious if anyone didn't get in the first year they applied, and how the eventually made it into Pharmacy School.

If you don't mind me asking - how EARLY was early? 🙂

Thanks!
