Anyone Pass USMLE and Fail COMLEX?

I don't know if I fit this description, but it would be ironic.

I am just wondering if anyone knows of this happening. The thought popped in my mind during a convo with a colleague of mine. It was a pretty funny scenario.

Say a D.O. student beats up the USMLE and gets above the mean, but doesn't pass the COMLEX...

Would allopathic programs accept a transfer under these grounds?

This is all hypothetical... but I think it could happen...

This is all hypothetical... but I think it could happen...

If I was making the admission decision, I would not accept such student because this student can not succeed in his/ her primary responsibility, and that is to pass the exams/ boards associated with the type of education he/ she DECIEDED to commit to.

You know, I'd really have to know more about the situation before I made the decision.

If it went failed COMLEX before good USMLE, I think "This is a person who doesn't take things seriously the first time" and I'd be thinking this is a student who's going to give me trouble.

If it went good USMLE before failed COMLEX I'd think similar to the poster above "He gets cocky and doesn't follow through"

If he did them both in a similar time frame I'd have to talk to the person because it is kind of a baffling scenario for this to happen. Did he get super lucky on USMLE and get the "hard" questions right that drive up a score to a fake level, or did he get super unlucky on COMLEX?
