Hi! iam apperaing for my part 1 in june , i have covered the decks faily thoroughly but the problem is that the decks do not cover every topic, and frankly most of the questions are too simple and straight forward to be good for the new pattern( i thin 😡 ). Ive heard that Q-bank is also a good source to study from ,Can any one out there who has taken Part 1 in new pattern put some light on qbank or other alternatives (apart from the old exams )

We have 2 threads there describing our NBDE Part I and Part II review books, which provide you with review material AND practice exams. Questions are written in NBDE-style and cover every section of the NBDE--and the answers include rationales. I hope you might find this helpful!

What most like about using Qbank is that it allows you to test in ways that most mimic the real exam, and also, to create tests along your review path that fit what you have covered up to that point, as well as to get used to the feel of taking the exam on computer, which does take some adjustment. By using the online testing tool, then, you won't face anything new or unfamiliar on test day. The Qbank also has good explanations which not only explain the correct answer, but also tell you why all the others were incorrect and how they were incorrect. Consequently, the explanations serve as a great study resource.
