Anyone rejected from NSU post interview?

Just curous, if you're not admitted to NSU, is everyone classified as an alternate (wait-listed) or does NSU straight-out reject some applicants post-interview?

i was put on alternate list post interview, but I recently wrote to them to withdraw my application since I've been accepted at couple of other schools. This is almost exactly what they said:


Thank you for your request. The alternate list will be reviewed by the admissions commitee in March. You will be contacted if you are offered a seat in class of 09.
