I took a job in my ideal location for a lot less money than I was in line to make in a previous gig because I wanted to live the way I wanted. I moved to my current locale for the mountain biking and skiing/ snowboarding. I became pretty good at those activities and decided I wanted to step it up a bit.

Hard Enduro has become my love. I'm just wondering if anyone else out there is into this? I know Sevo is.

grew up riding a kx125 through the woods of East Tennessee. Still have the bike at my parents house but haven't ridden in a few years. still ride a street bike regularly though.

that race looks amazing.. the beginning hill section is pretty intense. cant imagine trying to make that incline right out of the holeshot.

The first video shows the skill and commitment of this guy. At 1:35 into the video he gaps a piece of trail that is just amazing. If you could pre-run this race and learn what was coming then that would be impressive. But this is Erzberg. There is no pre-run. He saw the gap and went for it.

I saw that... dude is sick.

Nothing like a day in the dirt. I'm 100% addicted. The challanges are mental, physical and above all always in a beautiful setting:

I love me some enduro:

Just makes me happy. :joyful:

Just make sure you have a good disability policy. I've had to rethink how much I want to push myself with all the outdoor sports and activities I do. Not to long ago, I injured myself and needed surgery. This put me out of work for awhile.

I had one of those injuries requiring a few surgeries not too long ago as well. Stacked up the bike on a large rock at about 45mph. It didn't end well for me. Missed 2 weeks of work.

I rode bikes and quads my whole childhood-->young adult life up until I sold all my ATVs for college etc. I can't wait until I'm out of residency to pick up a few toys again. But with that said, I'll probably be waaaay more conservative now after seeing some of the stuff I've seen via trauma call or ICU months. It's absolutely amazing I'm still alive little lone with all 4 working appendages.
