Anyone studying M-Kurs in Studienkolleg

Hello,
I hope someone out there can help me out. I have to sutdy one year M-Kurs(M-Course) in a Studienkolleg because my high school certificate is not equal to German Abitur. I have studied Physics, Biology and Chemistry in my high school without Mathematics. My question is that, is mathematics necessary during High school to do M-Kurs in Studienkolleg and then appear for the Aptitude test (Feststellungspruefung) after that. Thanks a lot
