Anyone switch specialties during or after residency?

I was wondering, for people who have switched specialties either during or after residency, if you have any special insight or advice for people who are choosing specialties now. Is there anything you wish you had considered or done that may have prevented you from choosing the "wrong" specialty? Also, if you wouldn't mind sharing what specialties you switched from and into and what were the determining factors for making that switch. At what point did you KNOW you had picked the wrong specialty? How did you figure out what to switch into (did you have time to explore other specialties and re-evaluate what you liked and didn't like?)? What specific advice do you have for people who are choosing specialties now and are undecided? What are some things you might have done differently in retrospect while you were in the process of deciding on a specialty?
