Anyone try Sermo.com? (not an advertisment)

I got a mail-shot from "SERMO.com" advertising a physician-only community. Tried to register -- including providing my medical license number -- but was still unable to join.

Anyway else tried?

Anyone a member and care to comment on usefullness of the site?

How strange. I have the same mailer you must have gotten in the mail sitting on my desk beside me. I'm planning on doing it after finishing my email/SDN.

I've tried to register with them in the past and had the same experience you mentioned above.

After seeing southerndoc's post below, I'm certainly going to try again now that I'm properly motivated.

Dream with me, though..... one fine day we get SDN to pay us for each post. We'd have some people retire awfully early. 🙂

Just got another check for $20 today. I thought they only mailed one check per month, but for some reason I got one last week ($60) plus one this week for $20.

What the heck. I just signed up. It looked like Seaglass, Southern, and a few other names I thought I recognized where there. Overall, the community looked a bit small. I'm still not sure how they are making money off the posts. My guess is some of the drug and technology related posts like the recent one on IO lines are plants and big pharma is essentially paying for your opinions.
