what do they mean by "scholarly activity" for question 3 on the secondary? also, does it matter how far in advance of our interview we submit the app? thanks!

Publish research? Win Nobel? Acquire another degree? etc etc etc. I was somewhat vague and brief on this one. It's too difficult to say at this point in time, since the scholarly activities we pursue in med school relate to what fields we want to go into.

😱 😱 How on earth did you manage to finish so quickly? that's amazing! i'm still struggling w/good ol-2000 word autobiography. then there are those other blasted 500 word essays. and i'm under a deadline too...got to get it turned in by the end of this week! 😱 😱 *panic attack begins* if only i could stay off sdn. 😀

I pretty much wrote the autobiog in one afternoon and then have been touching up on it ever since. I did two essays for SIU and the two smaller essays for VANDY today. Just call me an essay machine. It's always been my weakness but ever since the MCAT I've been getting faster and quicker at writing. I just hope they don't suck.

scholarly activity during medical school means will you be doing any type of either clinical or basic science research while attending med school....

By the way, I figured out my problem. Everything is now submitted, etc.
