anyone turn in their application yet?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I turned mine in June 25th... shame shame shame.

J/K... there are plenty of people who wait until the Jan or Feb deadline to turn theirs in. I've talked to a few of them. Now, if they got in... that's a different story.

I submitted my pharmcas on August 13th. Still working on the supplemental apps though 🙁

i don't think you're behind. the first pharmcas deadline isn't until november 1 anyway. I'm still working on my essay too! I think i'm going to submit my pharmcas sometime this month though. because they say it takes up to 5 weeks to process. anyone know how long it takes pharmcas to get GPAs to the schools?

I haven't even begun to write my personal statement! Can you believe that?!?! Plus, I am going to take the PCAT in November and am applying for the 2005 year. So, for me, you are on the ball! Maybe I am too far behind...what do you think?

noo i dont think you're too far behind lynzee..but the people that i've talked to haven't written their personal statements either. but seeing how other people in this forum already sent in everything..maybe we should finish it quickly too..

oh yea if anyone has already gotten into a pharmacy school and has time to proofread my personal statement that would be great! 👍

Last year I submitted mine in October, and got an interview invite by December. I think people are turning things in a lot earlier this cycle, with all the increasing competition.

I submitted my app to PharmCAS on August 12th. I had most of the supplemental apps and all of my LORs before that date. In June I started the PharmCAS app and requested my transcripts and PCAT scores to be sent there. Now, I can just sit back and concentrate on my classes this semester. 🙂 👍

FutureRxgal, you're so lucky. I still have to study for the PCAT.

I probably won't get started till October... but unlike everyone else, I'm not applying to any schools that use PharmCAS.

I just want to say that I am so glad that I found this forum. This might get a little sappy, so my apologies! I have been out of school for a few years and do not have an advisor that can help me with the pharmacy school application (let alone someone to even read my PS). Therefore, I just want to say thank you for making a girl feel much more comfortable with this challenging and time-consuming process.
