I am looking for a good book that covers the how and why of lab tests and came across this book "Pocket Guide to Diagnostic Tests". I was wondering if anyone uses this book and what they thought of it? Is there a better one out there? I am not looking for a huge book, but also noticed some of the pocket books out there really have minimal information about how each test works and just says when it should be +/-, up/down - I'd like one that explains how the test works in a little detail so I can understand it.
