So, my idea is to have a website that is written/edited by students that includes study materials, quizzes, etc for medical students and anyone interested. 100% free, organized, no ads, that displays on desktops/laptops/mobile devices efficiently. I'm interested in finding some people w/ Wordpress/PHP/graphics/web development skills and people that are interested in providing original board-style questions (obviously everyone would be credited).

I already have the website up and running but it's seriously lacking in content (although there is some) and it needs some work on the back end. Anyone interested hit me up on here!

You're going to have trouble with copywrite laws. Students using images from their lecture notes, student plagiarizing questions. If its free why would they do back end and content helping when they could do it themselves which is the most important things about a website.

Anyone can use dreamweaver or a free website creator tool to make a website. Its the back end and the content where things stop. No ads lol. What are you going to pay for hosting and renewal of website name, repair for a DDoS attack, bot attacks, etc? Or are you gonna pop a donate button and hope that covers those costs while people feed content into your website with nothing in return, hoping this content isn't going to get you a cease and desist letter.

Ever heard of open-source and student projects? To answer most of your other concerns: the people doing this would be hand-picked and there's a form to remove questions if there's any concern.

This sounds like a cool idea! Would it be like a wiki?

Wiki already has a strong grip on that kind of stuff - but currently it's a list of quizzes that include questions that my friends and I have written to study for our exams. I did a lot of back end work and made some of my own graphics but there needs to be more manpower with boards and what not coming up.
