Just want to find out if it was still possible as an IMG with low numbers to match in PMR.
Can you post your scores and where you matched. If you dont mind where you interviewed as well.

THanks!!

I think you are too caught up in numbers. It really won't do you much good to find out about other people's numbers since you don't know the whole picture - if someone did poorly on step 1 then aced step 2, got multiple publications, got letters of recs from the biggest names in the field, had stellar alum contacts and the program director just fell in love with that person during his/her rotation, then obviously, the resulting match would not apply to you.

i would concentrate on finding out what field you want to go into, then give it all you've got. The worst thing to do is to apply to multiple fields just looking for a spot. that will give you the worst outcome. Choosing a field that you are passionate for and tailoring your application is the best chance you have. PM&R is a very small field with limited spots. IMGs already have difficulties as is, the low step 1 score will also hurt you... but that being said, there is still a chance. HOWEVER the caliber of applicants are going up. I know we at RIC interviewed a few IMGs - they were the best of the best with tons of research, interesting experiences, and great personalities. Unfortunately, none of them matched here but a couple of them I'm sure matched elsewhere. Bottomline is, you need to do some soul searching, look at the rest of your application (how are your grades? do you have letters? any research?) and go with your gut. if you go into the process with low self-esteem and lots of doubt, that will definitely show. If you are unsure, then a bigger field like internal medicine or family medicine may be the path for you.
