Hey everyone!
I am planning to apply next cycle, and I am trying to do my best to make sure I have a nice application. I will take my MCAT in January and should be applying (hopefully) with atleast a 3.5. I am starting research in 2 labs in the fall ( the research is totally different, which I like because I get to expand my knowledge on 2 completely different areas of science) , I am in the medical fraternity at my school, another medical club, shadowing doctors and voluntering at the hospital and have held 2 positions in my sorority. I am also looking to get involved with the American Cancer Society and hopefully enroll in a program where I can teach kids how to read once or twice a week. Is there anything else you can suggest? Maybe you can snag a leadership/teaching position?

I know we all go through these unspoken "requirements" but do what you want to do. Show med schools who you are by doing what you like because it'll make selling yourself that much easier.

Continue to keep your grades up and try to add some more leadership activities. Other than that, it sounds like you have a well-rounded application. Good luck!
