I have been checking regularly since the "we have received your AMCAS..." e-mail. My status still says the same thing. Has anyone actually gotten access to the secondary yet? 😕

I received the VCU secondary on 7/26 which was about a week after receiving the email that they had received my AMCAS application. Now all my materials are in and ready for processing!

I actually got a letter in the mail saying they got my amcas. It also said they'll make a decision on whether or not to give me a secondary.

I recieved a letter directing me to their website to complete their secondary. Didn't recieve an email, although it could have been sent to my junk box and that's why I never got it.

i got the email just over 2 weeks ago that they had rc'd my AMCAS and since i hadnt heard from them since then i actually called today [if you havent read my other posts -- ive had an address change and have become totally paranoid that no one has my right address and that all of my mail is falling into a black hole.....] and she said that i hadnt been processed yet but should be hearing by the end of the week-ish. it sucks being so impatient!!! not that i dont have a stack to work on, but still. so frustrating.

my "7-14 days" to be processed was last friday, and still nothing. I was going to wait it out til the end of the week before calling.

Today marks 3 weeks since they received my AMCAS. Has anyone called recently to see if something's up? If not I'm going to give them a ring in the afternoon and I'll post results.

Alright, so I got antsy and called. They said the admissions office has been closed for the past week because of orientation for the new entering class. People whose evaluation period is up (past the 7-14 days) should hear something next week.

Do yourself a favor, resist the urge to check hourly. I went through that last year and it made the waiting game seem endless. You've most likely got a lot of waiting left so find something to distract yourself, it'll help you have more relaxed interviews.

i got mine back in august 5th i think... it's not too bad so once you get it, you should be able to crank it out in like a day at tops...

anyways, i agree with rgporter, don't freak out.. this is a long process... ive been too busy to worry about whether ive received A or B's secondary... just work on the ones you have the best you can. G'luck!

they received my AMCAS on 7/28...which is weird since all the other schools I applied to received my primary on 7/12. I received a snail mail letter from them on Aug 2 telling me to check my status. and my status says they are still reviewing it....I hate the wait game..especially since I'm already rejected from Wake Forest

Now is not nearly the time to panic, believe me. When school starts in a week and you're sitting on two waitlists with no acceptances then you may feel free to stress yourself out as much as you like.
