Hi,

I did a search for this, but could not find any definitive answer, if I missed a thread answering this, I apologize.

I took the AP Calculus BC exam in High School and got a 4 overall score, with a 4 subscore as well. At my university, this fulfills 2 semesters of the higher level calculus (calc 123 and calc 124 i.e. calc I and II versus 121/122 which are supposed to be the "easier" ones - but from what I gather they are pretty similar anyways). I have also taken a semester of Statistics at college. Is this enough to satisfy most medical schools' math requirement? The premedical office at my school told me that this is enough for most medical schools "except for like two schools in the country" (direct quote). However, I haven't been able to find anything definitive on various medical schools' websites. I still have a about a year before applying to medical schools, so I still have a chance theoretically to take any math courses that I need.

I was wondering if anyone else had experience with this?

Thanks for all the help!

im in the same situation, but my premed advisor said that schools still want to see you take a semester or two of college level math, so i took calc 3 and ODE just to show them i can handle a year of college math. since you took stats you should be fine, but if you like math, maybe take another semester? calc 3 or something?

i know UCLA doesn't take any AP credits

Most school's websites include their AP rules in their prereq page.
