Hi,

I am in the process of submitting my application. I took AP Calculus in highschool and got the transfer credit for 1st year calculus in University. It appears on my transcript, as a T for Transfer, with no mark indication.

Do I have to contact the AP Board and get them to send my Calc AP mark to AADSAS? (I think Calc is a prereq to some of the schools...)

Thanks,

Schools will take your scores and believe at the moment. Like all schools, upon acceptance, an official copy of all transcripts, scores, etc. will be needed.

I also want to warn you about one thing. Be advised that some schools do not accept AP credit. For instance, I got a high score in AP Bio, but I had to take the series over again, since all dental schools required bio for admissions. I don't know if you have done research about this, but wanted to throw it out there for you.

random thought...

is this the reason that some dschools require your HS transcripts during the application process?? i know harvard does anyway...

is this more because chances are the people applying to schools like that have a good number of AP credits from HS or what??

really? @#$@#$#

man these applications are such a !@#!@#!@
I don't have time for this garbage - doing stuff differently for every school I apply.

Thanks creative.

I can't believe this... At my school we are not allowed to take the course if we received a highschool credit for it... This is so stupid.. I feel like a victim of circumstance.
It's even worse that this process is so complicated.
