Hey everyone, had a question regarding ap credits.
I got a 4 on the ap in biology way back in high school. I went to a tech school which gave me 4 credits of miscellaneous biology credits.
Now I'm doing my postbac ala carte at a local state school. When I transferred all my credits over there they gave me credit for the entire year of freshman biology!
Now, I know what you all will say. I should retake the bio just because it's so old and I've forgotten everything. But I'm not so sure. I retain stuff really well, and I've made straight a's in the a&p sequence. I also got a 29 (10 bs ) on aamc 3r without having practiced.
I'm thinking I should take the credits the local school has given me and take the sophomore biology sequence, which includes micro and genetics.
Does anyone know if allopathic schools will have a problem with this? I'll have my year of bio by the time I matriculate, just not general bio.
Thanks in advance!
