The school I'm planning on going to accepts both AP and CLEP credits. Which is better? What's the difference? Also, how do you register for AP exams?

AP is scheduled with the AP class. Your teacher should be on top of that and give you all you need to get registered and take care of it.

Pretty sure CLEP just lets you test out of certain courses like chem or bio. Basically like an AP without the class. I don't know how widely accepted CLEP is.

CLEP is pretty widely accepted. Most schools seem to accept a limited number of credits for them.

AP is essentially the class with a final test. CLEP is just the test. It is kind of like the SAT and ACT.

In that they both are accepted for course credit.

You can take either test without taking the class.
