This is my first time going to the APA convention, and I will be presenting 2 posters in the social/personality psychology category.

I have not heard when my presentation dates will be. Does anyone know when they typically notify presenters? Also, would these presenations be on the same day, or does that vary?

Thanks!

Acceptances are done by division, so people hear back at different times depending on who "sponsors" it. I imagine that will be soon though...I think I heard sometime in May about my poster last year.

I think they only do 1 poster session per division at APA? Which means that assuming both posters go to the same division, they might not only be on the same day, but at the same time. In which case most people just put up signs saying "Come to talk to me at poster X with questions" and thumbtack some handouts to the board.

Last year I had two posters in different divisions are the same time on the same day. They were kind enough to catch that and put my posters together, right where one division ended and the other began 🙂
