Hey Ya'll,

I'm applying to a clinical psychology doctoral program, but the application instructions state that I need to submit an APA formatted CV/resume. I know how to format a regular APA paper, and I know how to format a CV, but I haven't found a useful source online or on SDN on how to format a curriculum vitae IN APA format...

My guess at least is:
12 pt. Times New Roman font
1-inch margins

Any additional formatting advice?

There is no standard one way to create a CV. They usually have the same general subheadings, but style differs pretty considerably. After reviewing applications for several years I've seem dozens of styles. My advice is to try not to get too fancy. Keep it simple, where the information is easy to glean, so the reader doesn't have to search through a bunch of crap to get what they want.

That makes sense. I have a very well crafted CV. I had never heard of applying "APA formatting" to a CV in my life., and wasn't sure if it would drastically change the layout. I appreciate the advice! If anyone has any more tips then fire away.
