I have a 3.01 oGPA and a 2.653 sGPA, but I'm a biology major and I'm just finishing my sophomore year of undergrad so I have yet to take physics. Also I was thinking of applying during my senior year, so I have an extra year to bring up my overall gpa and science gpa, because I have a lot of science classes yet to take. My GPA is low because I really blew my freshman year and this year I've done considerably better (2.7 Freshman year- 3.2 sophomore year) I'm shadowing a dentist this summer and have lots of EC's. If I score in the 20's on the DAT what are my chances assuming I continue on the upward trend of my grades, because I think I can do much better than a 3.2.
I guess what I'm asking is: 1)Do all science courses count? or do they just look at the required ones?
2)What is a feasible s and o gpa I should aim for with my current record that gives me a good chance of getting in, assuming I've already completed 60 credit hours.
3)If I score in the 20s on the DAT, how much will that offset my lower gpa?
