I received some exciting news yesterday! A project I was involved in last year designing/building an adapted standup paddleboard has been accepted for presentation through peer review at a national convention! I'll be traveling to Boston in March to present.
Here's my question: since I already applied to OTCAS schools/was verified, I understand the app is locked, so I can't add to the resume I submitted...
Is it appropriate to send an email to schools mentioning the new development (briefly) and reiterating my interest in the school, etc? Or is that generally frowned upon?
(Is not an AOTA convention, or anything, and won't be the deciding factor regardless, but I am pretty excited...).
Advice?
