Hi All,

There's a question on the AADSAS about whether we've previously applied to any health profession schools in the past, and if so, which ones. I did apply to some medical schools in the past, but I made a switch in career direction to dentistry. Do I need to put down that I had applied to medical schools even though only 3 of the schools on my dental school list are schools I applied to in the past for med?

I'm a little anxious b/c I don't want to hurt my chances of getting into dental school. Any input would really help.

i'd put it down if i were you...i wouldn't lie on my application because if a school finds out, it'll be hard for you to explain yourself..

if your stats are good, you'll get an interview anyway...and then just explain to you what you've done to discover that med wasn't for you...
