What do you do when you already have an MCAT score and are applying really really early, but will be retaking the MCATs in August. Will schools not give secondaries based on your first MCAT score or will they wait for your August score to come out? I'm assuming there's a box you can check saying you will be retaking the MCATs in August? I ask because I want to send in my app early, but not get penalized because of my previous MCAT score which I am trying to raise by taking them again in August. Thanks

I checked off the "Taking MCAT in August" box, and I was accepted to a school before I even took that test. It won't be a problem.

Check off the box like OSU said, but most schoos will send out secondaries to everyone that meets their minimum GPA standard. This way they can get some excess income from the $40+ you have to send in w/ it. Gotta love it...
