Hello all! I thought I would post here for those of us who did not match in Phase II and are using the PMVS. I followed the stats for Phase II and found some comfort in knowing what other candidates were experiencing. I have has two interviews since the blow of not matching on Monday, but I have no idea what the pool of candidates are. I would love to hear what you're experiencing right now.

I’m in the same boat. I’m trying to stay true to my personal and professional goals of pursuing an APA accredited internship, so Im strongly considering taking another year. It’s hard to come to this decision, because I’ve put my best efforts into my program and i was not prepared for these past 4.5 years to not result in being matched; however, Im not willing to compromise on my goals and training. Plus, I have a good small group of friends in my cohort who are considering doing the same thing. Thanks for starting this thread.

I wasn't prepared for the string of no's the at I've received. I have been working in the field for 11 years and have had two fellowships while in my program. My concern with waiting a year is that the applicant/site ratio is only getting worse, and the recent spike this past year will carry over to next year as well.

Some of the spike may have been due to the Argosy mill closing and the disruption causing some of their students to have to wait to apply. I wouldn't worry about the applicant/site ratio as it's better then it's been historically. changes here on out should be normal variation.

Has anyone else applied to the RIT Priority Behavioral Health site that popped up in PMVS the week before last? They were supposed to reach out middle of last week, but so far, nothing...
