Hey guys, just wondering to those who are receiving invitations for interviews: are your Step II scores in? A significant portion of the programs I've applied to have already begun sending interview invitations. Granted some of them are long shots but a few I thought I had a decent chance of at least getting an interview invite. Overall I think my application is decent, 3rd year honors, good letters, above average Step I, significantly better COMLEX score. Step II and COMLEX II will hopefully be available by the end of October. Any thoughts?

I won't be talking step 2 for a couple of months but I've already gotten interviews offers.
Do schools need to have step 2 scores in before submitting their rank list?

I also have not taken Step 2 and got interview offers from some good places just based on Step 1. I am so scared to take Step 2 because one PD told me that if I got below what would be expected (based on my Step 1) that it would definitely hurt me.

Don't sweat it about not getting interviews yet, I wasn't getting anything until I sent in my academic transcript. Once my academic transcript was in they slowly started to trickle in.

bump? would appreciate if a PD/an attending could comment.

Yeah, and if a PD/attending could tell me how bad it would be to go down say 10 points on my score so that I don't freak out so much that would be helpful too.

and also comment on whether it's better to withhold the results or release them in the event that the score does go down significantly
