How long does it usually take to hear back from dental schools regarding a decision? (If application were to be sent out on the first available day, June 4). I ask because I am considering doing a special Master's program during the Fall semester if I don't receive any interviews. Obviously, I do not want to enroll in the program if there is still a chance I could receive an interview during this time period.

I got my first interview invitation on June 25th. Applying early should give you an advantage for getting early interviews (depending on the school since some don't start until months later).

It really depends on the schools you apply to. Some start giving out interviews end of June whereas others don't start until the end of August. I'd check out school specific threads for 2022 and 2023 to see when schools started to send out invites.
