couple questions...what do you think?

-i have a minor in Communications and have completed two 120 hour winter intercession internships in this field (working with Marketing Director mainly).

-last summer of 2008 I was a nanny.

should i include these under Work Experience?

thanks :luck:

yes, on the nanny. gotta make money and any person with a half brain would understand your situation. the internships depends on when you did these. if you did these internships way before beginning your path to pre-med (pre-dent?), then there should be no questioning of your commitment. otherwise, there's a chance someone might raise their eyebrow.

i did the internships freshman year when i was a communications major before switching to biotech and becoming pre-prof.

does that make a big diff?

No it doesn't make a big difference. You can explain that in your interview if they ask.

The nanny experience is great for dental school. You will work with patients of all ages, so having recent experience with children can only help your application.

Marketing internship- include that too. It shows you have some business experience and you explored other fields before settling on dentistry.

Feel free to message me if you have any questions.

The more the experience the better, I agree with the previous comments it is ok if you put the nanny for as we all know you might deal with kids at this job
