Hello, I understand that the AADSAS application opens June1 this year. I am planning on taking the DAT in late July. Since the AADSAS application takes 6-8 weeks to process, do I just send out my AADSAS application on June 1, and send in my DAT scores in later July? Is this an ok/normal thing to do? Please help.

yup! that's what like 90% of applicants do (or take DATs around then). unless you are me and lived at the beach for the summer and procrastinated.

good luck!

It won't be sent out on June 1st...and most likely you won't finish the application in 12 hours...actually...you won't finish it in 12 hours. Have all your transcripts ready to be sent to AADSAS, your personal essay done, your LOE ready to go, and your work/volunteer experience organized. That way you can just fly through the application and once AADSAS receives your transcripts it will verify them and send them out. It doesn't wait on your LOEs but it will send them on to the schools when they arrive! Best of luck.

Thanks so much. I have another tough one,
I am doing a pre-health advisors committee letter of recommendation, and a letter from the dentist I shadowed for 3 years, but do the LOR need to be addressed to the individual schools I am applying to, or are they just letters that explain my academic/college excellence? Please let me know.
