I currently have my MCAT scheduled for July, this means i won't get the scores back till August. I wanted to know if August falls under "applying early," if not, then when is it early and when is it too late to apply? I saw that AACOMAS for 2015 cycle opens up sometime in May, can i still fill out my application without an MCAT score? Also, i wanted to retake a class but it starts in July and ends in August, can i just add the class to a updated AACOMAS transcript along with my mcat score? Thanks.

Hi.

I am doing the same thing as you.

I will be applying in the first week of June to one school and sending in my MCAT score in late August. If my score is good I will be adding more schools. I will also be update AACOMAS with my fall 2014 grades in December.

I have the same question as you: I would like to know how AACOMAS processes new transcripts after the primary application was submitted! Will it be obvious to schools that a new transcript was added?

You can fill it out starting in early May, I believe. Being filled out and being submitted are two different things. August is not late; it's not as early as you could be, but you are still in the "normal" window.

Yes, you can submit it august with the updated retake and your new MCAT score, and yes, that will be fine.
