Application available online?

When you e-submit your AADSAS application is says "your application is now available to schools online." Do dental schools ever look online at the applications or do they just wait until they get your printout. What if they receive your supplimental application or money before the AADSAS printout is mailed- would they ever go online? Thanks!

Sadly, they dont look at your application until they recieve the hardcopy printout from the AADSAS. I emailed all of the schools I applied to with that very question and got the same response. However some did say that since I already e-submitted the application, just go ahead and fill out the secondary (if it was posted online) that way my file was complete when they got my prinout. Luckily I did this a day before AADSAS updated the website saying they had mailed my applications the week before so I didnt feel so bad after sending the schools more of my money.

There actually are a few schools who pull the application of the internet. University of Kentucky being one of them. They pull usually only in-staters, but it seems that they may be doing more this year. Also I'd bet Case had to atleast abit of this because they review and and grant interviews really fast. The best place for info on what shools what with the AADSAS application is on the application checklist page pulldown the menu where you designate schools, and then click the supplemental info arrow on the right, and it tells you exactly what to send and when to send it.

Some schools seem to look online to see who to send secondaries to, but very few if any actually read the online application as if they were looking to interview you.

if your supplemental arrives before the aadsas, they just put it in your file and wait for the aadsas. UNLV does this cause you can fill out the supplemental anytime
