Hello Everyone,
I am hoping to get some feedback from people who have/had similar statistics as me on what I should expect from this application cycle. Hopefully someone who applied last cycle can provide some insight; thank you in advance to any responses!

Average EC, Shadowing, Volunteering, Great LORs, Worked part-time throughout undergrad and full-time for 2 years between undergrad and grad school (older applicant at 25)
Clearly, I was somewhat immature in undergrad and enjoyed a little too much of the social scene, as my GPA reflects. I always got by doing little work in high school and cramming the day before, and continued this throughout much of undergrad. I also am notorious for receiving B+ grades, as my "W/O +/-" GPA shows. I have since matured tremendously and take my career choice much more seriously, and after working full-time for a couple of years (field unrelated) decided it was time to chase my dream again. I got my act together, changed my study skills, and attacked a rigorous SMP curriculum with everything I had. I followed this up with a strong DAT performance, and am currently finishing and submitting supplemental apps (submitted AADSAS with everything except DAT on June 6th; took DAT and had scores sent on July 13th [still being received by schools]).
I understand I cannot hide my poor showing in undergrad, and I shouldn't be allowed to. I was not focused, and deserved what I got. However, I also realize that undergraduate GPA is a HUGE determining factor when it comes to gaining admittance, and oftentimes high DAT/graduate GPA do little to overcome a low one. All I can do now is hope that ONE committee sees that I have matured tremendously and that the old GPA does not reflect my current self.
Sorry for the exhaustive breakdown of my application, but I know that individuals on this website like as much info as possible before posting advice/comments, and I appreciate any that come. Please be honest (realistic as opposed to optimistic) as I will start preparing now to change my plans if necessary.
Again, thank you, and I hope everyone has a successful application cycle! 🙂
