Application Deadline

Hi everyone!

So I know that each school has it's own official deadline, but what is considered the "unofficial" application deadline? Is end of August too late to submit my application? I see all of these posts about first batch so I was curious what the proper timeline is to still be a competitive candidate.

June/July - early
August/September - on-time
October -> getting late...
