Regarding application deadlines: If a school has an October 1st deadline, does this mean that they have to receive the mailed application from AADSAS by October 1st? Or, does it mean you have to pay the fee to AADSAS so they know the application is being mailed?

For some reason I feel like I remember that this refers to the AADSAS submission date. I'm not sure though.

There isn't a real mailing. It's all electronic. So it has to be in to AADSAS by the school's AADSAS deadline.

Q: What is an ADEA AADSAS deadline?
A: An ADEA AADSAS deadline is the date designated by each dental school by which your ADEA AADSAS application, official transcripts, and fee payment must be submitted to ADEA AADSAS to be considered for admission to your designated school(s). If your application, fee payment and all official transcripts have been received at ADEA AADSAS by that school's ADEA AADSAS deadline date, your application will be processed and sent to your designated schools.

If letters of evaluation (LOE’s) are received after the deadline date, each LOE will be sent to designated schools in the next mailing. ADEA AADSAS is not responsible for the receipt of delayed LOE’s.

All ADEA AADSAS application deadline dates expire at 11:59 pm (Eastern Time) on the specified date.
