I just submitted my PTCAS application. It feels great to not have to deal with it anymore 🙂 now i just have to play the waiting game like everyone else

Just so you have a data point about what kind of timeline to expect from PTCAS -- I submitted on 9/10 (a Saturday, at night) and just got an email from them today that everything is processed and will be mailed this week.

So it took them around 2 weeks for me (they had all the transcripts already); hopefully your processing time will be around the same if not shorter.

Thanks for the head's up! I submitted mine on 9/8 (transcripts and LOR's all in) but didn't send my money order in until 9/12, so hopefully they'll have mine processed sometime this week. I hope mine goes out this mailing cycle. Do you remember what day they said they received your payment? They processed my payment 9/19 but haven't gone any further than that.

I used a PTCAS fee waiver, so the date of "Payment Received" on my "Receipt" is the same as my submit date -- 9/10.

Because I know the agony of the wait for PTCAS to process (It was driving me crazy those 2 weeks! Especially since it sounded like peeps who submitted earlier had a faster processing time), I really hope that PTCAS gets your stuff done soon!

I added a few schools on 9/7 and have had 3 conversations w/ PTCAS as to why my apps have not been "mailed" out yet. They can't seem to tell my what the hold up was. Should have gone out the 15th. They promised to send it out this week. Also stated that the schools can "see" my info even if the apps have not been "mailed" to the schools..........this refers to snail mailing- which took me by surprise. I assumed everything was electronically mailed.
Yes it is a great feeling to get it done.....................Good luck to all.

Yes it was a great feeling! honestly, more of a feeling of relief than joy, haha. I ended up applying to Arcadia, Drexel, Univ. of Scranton, Pitt, Chatham, Duquense, Kentucky, Maryland, and im applying to 3 non-PTCAS schools: Texas State, UTHSC-San Antonio, and US Army-Baylor.

yeh, hopefully it will take about the same time for mine as it did your application. They already have my transcripts and such as well, so lets hope its the same amount of time for the processing of my application as well.
