Here's a question that has been Bugging me. Can anyone help?
During the scramble, Do I call the program directors first prior to faxing them my info...or do I just start faxing my applications to all the unfilled programs like crazy???

ditto - according to our dean, some programs will want you to fax it, some will want you to send it via eras, some will want emailed attachments. So have it all ready to go. And I saw some email that started out "just because you are getting this email doen't mean you have to scramble". It said that you should recheck all of your info in your eras app and that you can go in a make up special scramble personal statements. I will definitely take advantage of that if I have to scramble. I will also hope that every program just wants an eras app. That would be the easiest!
Some say that if you call the PDs they will only ask you to send the application anyways...
Furthermore these matching sevices inundate the PDs with applications and some have a 40-0% success rate...even without the applicants calling the PDs first
