Hi...
Acknowledgement that schools have received my AADSAS have finally rolled in... And they ask for more $. Some aren't very clear whether or not this is money in addition to the fee we paid when we submitted our AADSAS application...
I'm confused -- should I be writing checks now? $70ish per school when we sent in AADSAS, and $70ish again now that theyve received it?
(namely 5 CA schools, 3 Mass schools..)

Thanks!

You betcha! 2 fees!! Fees to AADSAS to have them send it to the schools/process it.. and then additional fees to be mailed/written out to each individual school! 🙁

lol, i remember the threads about this this time last year when I was applying. that's right, a flat processing fee + x amount per school goes to aadsas just for collecting your stuff and copying and sending out to schools. then each school has the $50+ application fee. then you pay for lodging and transport to and from interviews. then you have to put down a deposit, hopefully just one but maybe two depending on the timeline of getting acceptances from your schools. start saving :meanie:

Yup! If they ask for it you've gotta give it (if you want them to consider your application). And then there is the added expense of going to interviews to consider.
