Application: Filling in coursework

I got an email saying that I filled in the coursework part wrong. Since I'm at UBC, we have a winter semester (Term 1: Sept-Dec and Term 2: Jan-Apr). But when I split them terms up, one would be considered 2007W and the other 2008W (ie, designating the year that that course started). But if I do it like that, then the order gets all messed up cause in the following year, I'll have another 2008W (sept-dec) and 2009W (jan-apr).

Any help on properly entering this in would be greatly appreciated!

I had the same problem - just split it like they told you to do. It doesn't matter if it looks messed up to you.

which schools are you applying to?

I'm applying to NYU, Boston, and Pacific.

So for instance, did you have something like two 2008W terms?

I'm in biochemistry. What about you? Yup, just applying to those 3 schools this year (in addition to UBC that is).

In addition to my question.. how would I fill in the coursework section if a course lasts for two both semesters?

Like 2008W will be 2008 Fall Trimester and 2009 Spring Trimester.

And then don't enter numeric grades...just the alpha grades, like A+ etc...

I don't know who you talked to, but UBC can provide good clinical experience if you work hard.

I talked to a few students who graduated from UBC in the recent years. They said overall they weren't really satisfied with the amount they pay...they recommended going to a better place or even US for the same amount of money...

Are you going to UBC right now?

They probably weren't satisfied about the PBL. It's true that for some people it's difficult to get the right instructors who can approve your treatment plan and find patients that can pay for the service, but it's the same everywhere else.

I am not going to ubc right now, I am applying this year.
