I did a semester abroad in Mexico a few years back. So when it came time to apply I needed my transcript sent. It took weeks for a reply to my messages, then it required me to open a Mexican bank account to transfer the funds for the transcript (WTF!). So while that was going on I got permission from ADDSAS to have my Undergrad school send an ?official? photocopy of their copy of my Mexican transcript. Sounds good. But no! That required two weeks running between departments begging and pleading for someone to locate, photocopy and stamp it. All in all it delayed my ADDSAS app. by a month.

Now everything is in on my behalf, but I am told that it will take another month for my recommendations to be processed and sent out.

Its just a little stressful. Little bit.

well at least your not in my shoes. I send in my aadsas on may 18. I gave my LOR writers all info they needed on may 10th. Come July 27th, only 1/3 of them have sent in a letter. I have reminded the other two 6 times each and one refuses to respond to my faxes/messages, and the other says like every time -- any day now. I really want letters from these people, but it looks like i'm in a lot of trouble now 🙁
