Application "On HOLD"?!?!?!?

Hello SDN,

I know this is better than getting a flat out rejection but what does it mean when a Masters program puts ur application "on hold?"

I tried callin' the program but the person who answered didn't give me a clear answer .... so just wondering if anyone has experienced or heard of this?

I was just notified that I was placed on the Hold List at UMDNJ...and that they have already looked at my application...they will look at it again and then make their decision...They said I should hear word in 2-3weeks
