Hi all, I was curious as to when a picture of yourself has to be submitted to schools during the match process. The picture taken of me for my class composite makes me look short one chromosome, so I was hoping to get one professionally done. Please give me a date to shoot for to have this done by. Hope all is well with everyone. 😳

I went to Target to get my photos. I'd get your photos as soon as you can, since it takes up to 3 weeks to get your photos back.

Since you might interview at 20 programs, 20 * 5 interviewers = 100 photos

This is probably too many, but it's cheaper to purchase more up front than to pay for portrait sheets later.

You really only need 1 pic for each place you interview (plus one for SF Match).

I had mine done at Sears. Very professional and also very cost effective (look for a coupon on-line)

Good luck

SF Match will distribute the picture you submit to them to the programs you interview at. But, at least half ask for a wallet sized photograph to be sent directly to them.
