Ok, i'm a little confused about the process. So if you're asked for an internview, that means you're good enough to make the school, they're just trying to see your personalty, right?? So could you say that the interview is the most important aspect of getting into a med school? In making their decision to accept you, would they based it mostly on the interview (since you were good enough to get one) or the whole package??

Here's a scenario:

3.2, 30 MCAT, awesome interview
vs
3.7, 37 MCAT, mediocore/blah interview

who would make it?

Pretty sure the 37.

I'd hate to break this to people, but I believe the 3.7, 37 applicant will get in. Here's why: At many schools, after the interview, they discuss the entire applicant (and not just the interview). So in the end your interview is discussed with respect to your other attributes. Every school I've interviewed at said they discuss your entire application after the interview.
