Hey guys, I have some questions about the process of applying to dental school. I have already taken my DAT and am looking to apply this June. I guess I'm confused about what else I need to do in order to apply to dental school. I will be asking for my letters of rec soon, so that's out of the way, but what else do I need to do? What else is on the aadsas application that I need to submit? Also, when do I need to send in my official transcripts? Thanks guys.

Have you started a personal statement? And do you have everything you've done documented in some sort of resume (I think that makes it easier to fill out the "activities" or whatever it's called section)?

To turn in your transcript, you need to print off a "transcript matching form". If I'm not mistaken, you can't get this before you start your application, which can only be started June 1, so you'd have to print it off and request it then. Someone can verify/correct me on this though.

I think you're super prepared though, and filling out the AADSAS will be a breeze for you!! 🙂

I haven't started the personal statement. That is just answering the "Why dentistry?" question right? I have made a resume though. What else does the aadsas ask? Is there a way to see what last year's application looked like so i know what all I need to fill in?
