Hi Everyone,

I am new to SDN.
I will be doing research this summer with a professor beginning in early May and I was wondering if I would be able to include this in my application when applying this upcoming cycle. I plan to apply first or second batch and I know I will be working 8 hours a day for 16 weeks.

My questions are:

Can I include this in my application? If so, would I only be able to put down how many hours I have already worked or can I put the total amount of hours for the whole summer ?

I appreciate your help.

Thanks in advance🙂

I did research in the fall of this year after turning in my application and included it on my application noting the future date. I mentioned what I did in my interview and never had a problem

It would look weird if you put down the time you began as May and your total hrs as 640.

Put the true amount of hours you will have completed at the time of submitting your app. But like the previous poster said make mention of your time commitment in the description box, say something brief like: 40hrs/wk for 16 weeks. Thats assuming youre doing it 5 days a week and not 7/everyday.

Just say you are continuing in the description.
