Do you have to fill out the "questions" part of each school before you submit your application or can you do it after you submit as well? Because some schools require multiple large essays that go up to 2000/4500 characters so I was wondering if I would be able to edit or write that after submitting? Also are those considered supplementals? And also after submitting an application if there is an application fee for the specific school do you have to pay right away? Thank you!

You may not submit your application for the schools that required supplemental essays until they are complete. When you check the 'submit application' tab on your ADEA AADSAS portal, you will see which schools are ready to submit and which schools need more information completed. Remember, you do not have to submit all of the schools applications at the same time! Hope that helps.
okay so that tab for each school that says "questions" is a supplemental application? Will schools that don't have that email you their supplemental if they have one?
Depends on the school. UPenn for instance requires that you download their supplemental from their website and submit it asap. Most schools will email you with instructions on how to complete their supplemental/pay the fee. I would check on each school website for instructions.
And yes, that "questions" section is a supplemental application.

Every school will do things differently. Some will send you a supplemental application after you submit your AADSAS application, some will only send a supplemental to those invited to interview, others include them as part of AADSAS, some schools don't have supplementals at all. So, the 'questions' tab does not necessary mean it is a supplemental application(it may be depending on the school), but that 'questions' section needs to be completed before you can submit. Typically after you submit your AADSAS this will become more clear because the schools will contact you regarding your status. Good luck!
